Located directly below Lock 9 on the Allegheny River, The campground offers 75 permanent sites with full hookup, and 5 sites with electric and water, 10 primitive sites (3 of which on on the waters edge). Facilities include a dump station, hot showers, flush toilets, boat launch, boat dock, beach, laundry, onsite store and bait shop. Activies include volleyball, horseshoes, and a gameroom. Yearly and seasonal packages available. Weekend rate: $25.00 per night.

A REPUTATION FOR QUALITY AND RELIABILITY

DIRECTIONS: From Kittanning take 268 North or from Chicora take 268 South. Follow 268 until you come to sign that says Hydroplant #9. Turn onto Sherret/Watersonville Road and follow this 4.1 miles. You will come to a sign that says River's Edge Campground. Turn right onto River Road/Dam #9. This hill is steep and windy. After the second sharp bend you will see a large River's Edge Campground sign. Turn right and this will take you directly into the campground.
